• Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child. We are all born sinners. Foolishness is the condition of an unsaved heart, indicative of the absence of God's Wisdom.

Proverbs 22:15 "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him."

Psalm 58:3 "The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies."

• The rod of correction shall drive it far from him. The rod and reproof give wisdom.

• Rod of correction is the Word of God. Physical rod can only modify a Child's behavior but the Word of God has the power to transform the Child inside out and can deliver the Child's soul from hell. Chastisement is an act of love.
